I have 4 of the cree q5's from dx.

Each one has 2 sets of postive and negative pads. I want to wire them together in series.

This is simple but it's thrown me, how do i wire them up?

Can i put the power in to any point on the circuit?

Each positive and negative connects to the same place. You want it to go source+>LED+>LED->LED+>LED->LED+>LED->LED+>LED->source-

You only solder to one + and one - per LED. It doesn't matter which one though.

The multiple + and - contacts are only there to make it easier for builders & modders. Now you can wire them side-by-side, bottom-to-bottom, top-to-top, top-to-bottom, etc.

I hope not to offend, but your questions sound like you may not be knowledgeable on LEDs. Do you understand the current limiting required, thermal management and forward voltage. Your not going to hook them up direct to a battery are you?
