Went out to WalMart today and somehow found myself in the flashlight aisle. Ran across a new booklight I hadn't seen before. Being a sucker for odd little lights, especially for less than 10 bucks ($7.97 actually) I had to try it. It's reasonably well built and puts out maybe 10 lumens (based on comparing it to my E01 by ceiling bounce) from two fairly white 5mm LEDs. As a book light it's clip is a bit awkward, but it's bright enough. Probably works better as a table light. And, it can be switched on without unfolding it, so it will function as kind of a wide flood right angle flashlight. It's nice that it runs on common batteries (AAA), and only two of them. I don't think the plastic case would take much abuse, but it's not too junky. Bear in mind it doesn't take much to please me, but for $8 I think it's okay.

That's neat that it can still work while folded. "Found yourself" huh? Heh, I bet. ;-)
