SOOOOO much better. Surefire should consider making that change themselves. Its' really easy to pull up off the pocket or belt with that tailcap. Now they need to make those tailcaps in HA-NAT so E1L users can enjoy it too!

I LOVE mine!

Oh and, the M600C KIT01 (the only light that comes with the Z68) has the option of BLACK or DESERT SAND BROWN.

I'm not real sure what the difference is between desert sand brown and HA natural. I thought I had seen a picture on the SF site with both colors but I can't find it.

The M600C (without the KIT01 addition) comes with both the Z68 and UE07
(The M600C KIT01 adds the LU60A Incandescent Lamp Module and the FM63 IR BeamFilter)

The Desert Sand Brown finish is brown rather than natural HA which is grey.

Here's the pic I was originally looking for. Rehosted from the SF M600C page (why didn't I check there sooner?)

At least it will match the E1L's better than a black version (assuming you can purchase the tan version seperately)

Here's a pic (rehosted) that I found through google...

EDIT: At least, I think that's the Desert Sand Brown version.

That's awesome!

Does Surefire plan to make other lights with that color?

There may be a market for one or two specific WeaponLights (Military orders spring to mind) but I doubt there is sufficient demand for wider scope for additional colour finishes to the handheld range for example.

I love the setup. It's my EDC I've been carrying for over 6 months now.

The Milky E1B Transformer :grin2:

The tailcap is the main reason I like the E2D -- it makes the E2D a great backup light. I've carried an E2D for many years in a front pocket and because of the tailcap it's always ready to go, the projections providing enough protection of the switch that I've never had any issue of accidental drainage of the batteries, no lockout necessary, and therefore no fumbling when you need the backup light right away.

Hi

I'm looking for tailstanding tailcap for my new E1L. I found the McTC that comes in natural colour, but I can't find any pictures of this combo. Does anyone use that on E1L or on some 1 cell e-series light?

Where do you find that tailcap (Z67 or Z68?) for the E1B at a good price? The $38 (list?) I saw on one site seemed high. My Backup has been here <2 days - super light.
