My new 7x R2 WG project with beam shot

here is my 7x R2 WG project in its new "home" (FM 3x17670 HA Purple)

:

Its installed with an 10 degree aspherical lens and 6x 17mm smo reflectors for improved throw.

Its got better improvement in throw compared to my penta cree Q5, and nice warm tint. Housed in an FM 3x17670 HA Purple host measuring just a tick over 200mm. Got to love the fine hosts that FM has to offer!!!

Where did you get the custom heat sink from?

and what sort of driver did you drive the LED?

I am using the multi sink from CPF member "Download".

I am still waiting for the driver to arrive (sharks was intended to be put in).It is currently running on direct drive (3s2p) for the outter 6 leds and 1000ma buck converter for the center led.

I did think to put laser in the middle. But never start yet.

hm... laser sounds even better!!:naughty:

But I might have to wait to see it from your creations, as its illegal to have/own/obtain laser pointers that are >1mw (or 5mw not sure:thinking

here in Australia. Which is pointless for me to install a laser that is <1mw in the light :sigh:.

Maybe its time that you show us a project containing the above as described?? :poke:

Anyway thanks for the common and will wait to see your coming "new project" :devil:.
