It's a fine light. But I've always been trying to find a good use for it. Basically, it's just too floody for its size. Guess I'm not a fan of multi emitter lights. So I modded it by replacing the sst-20 4000k leds with the awesome Osram CSLPM1.tg. I ordered three W-2 from Kaidomain. First number is original output. The number in the brackets is after the swap. after the Asterix will be with the swap and a bypassed tail spring. This is with factory settings, seven steps and stepped ramp. All I have done is increased max temperature.
Besides the extra output, throw has gone up by quite a bit. No longer do I need a high setting to get useful output. This thing is stupidly bright now
Also, obviously this light does see a big difference bypassing that thin factory tailspring with copper braid. Moonlight to 3 is on the 7135. After that is fet
