I know it may be a case of apples & oranges, but how do these compare for price? an awesome factory light with many available options for levels of brightness, or a privatly modified light that lasts longer than standard & improves on a stock item. What's wrong with the lightwave 2000/3000 if you want an led that last's forever? just cause it's plastic? I know there are as many uses, opinions, etc. on these boards as lights available, but just looking for reasonable thoughts as to why I would spend the just about the same money for one or the other. the lightwave is 1/2 the price of the luxeon.
