HELP w/ Deree CL1H version!!!

im trying to find out what ver. this is (v.1,2,3). any info. would be helpfull...thanks!!!

I'm not sure if it's the first or second version but the emitter is a SSC P4.

I have exactly the same, the SSC module without a reflector gives great flood!
I'm not quite sure which version it is but I think it's version 2

i thought it was ver.2 also, but checking the pic's on Deree's site ver.2 is engraved with v2 after the CL1H this one has nothing after the CL1H. i figured as much on the emitter, i just didn't know if it was specific to a certain ver. like before all the different pills or something. thanks for the info. i have another one just like it and it looks like it has a CREE and a deeper more regular looking reflector, and the pill screws off of the bottom. i'm gonna order a 3SD pill for that one, and maybe a new reflector and a 3SM Q3 for this one. i am just curious to know the version of them because i want to know if there will be a gap between the head and the body with the different pills, as stated on Deree's site. again thanks for the info. and keep it coming.:thumbsup:

Helmut.G- another thing, does the one you have with the SSC only work with 18650's? mine only works with 18650's so far. thanks again

will the positive still be toward the tailcap when i change the reflector and pill to the 3SM, or will the possitive change and go to the head? thanks

Hmm looks like aa CL1H 1.0,one way to check for sure is the dimensions thus:
the CL1H 2.0 140mm(Length)x 34mm(Head)x 25mm(housing).The CL1H 1.0 is about 10mm shorter if memory serves

What pill? IIRC only the 2SM had reverse polarity i.e + toward tail cap, the digital/newer pills use a forward clicky to change modes/light levels in that case + toward head hope that helps.

It works with 18650 as well as 2xCR123 and 2xRCR123, but I think it's not really regulated well on 18650s

That's a version 2. I've never seen the SSC module.

thanks all. the pill's i was talking about were the 3SM and 3SD pill that i am going to put in both of these. i just wanted to make sure the battery polarity was correct...so for the newer 3SM and 3SD's the batt. goes to the head...right?
