Princeton Tec EOS on sale

Just saw this and thought I'd post....

REI-outlet has the Princeton Tec EOS on sale from $44.99 to $27.93.

And, I just got an email (from them) that said if you enter the promo code OUTLET25, they knock off another 20%. That's $22.94 by my calc. The downside.... I think this is the '08 model before the new LED upgrade. Maybe one of you can confirm?

Just an FYI.

Yes, it is the older model but would make for a good modding host especially if can do in store pickup and save on shipping.

I agree. And the in-store pick up is a great idea if you have an REI near you. Atlanta is lucky enough to have four, now.

I think someone already posted this, but this is a great deal that hopefully more people can take advantage of.
It's definitely the Luxeon version, but this light can be modded by most people with modding skills (not me).
