Hello guys. I would like to use an m60 in my SF 6p with some RCR123. I have read somwhere in a write up that RCR123 should not be discharged in under 30min. The stated run time of of the m60 is 1.5 hours cut that in half for RCR123s and thats 45min. Is that cutting it too close? Thanks for any input.

If you get protected cells it won't be a problem, as the PCB in the battery will shut down before they're discharged too far. Doing that too often will shorten the lifetime of the battery a bit but they'll have paid for themselves 10 times over by then. Using unprotected cells in series (other than safe chemistry, LiMN/LiFePO4) is not recommended due to potential safety issues and battery damage.
