Is this a straight swap or does the die have to go up into the reflector like the Seoul for proper focus? When I eyeball them, the K2 appears a little lower than the Lux 3. Has anybody had experience with this swap?

Not sure how critical this is, but with the K2 light I have it has 4 contact points on the board, whereas all my Lux lights only have 2.

I tested them and only 2 of them give current to the die, diagonal from each other.

I went and tried it without a spacer. Not too bad, has a defined hotspot but with artifacts because of the smooth reflector. This is in a JIL CR2 DD.

I did it with a focusable light and I don't think it gets as tight a beam but the difference in overall output more than made up for it.
