I just recharged the 10440 that was in my wife's LF2 SSC, and now the emitter glows very dimly when the light is off (tightened all the way). The light otherwise seems to operate correctly, and this same battery has been in this light for over a year, and recharged several times. I don't think this has happened before, but the glow is very dim, so maybe I missed it before, but I doubt it since I normally recharge in the evenings.
I tried the light with a NiMH and it seems to be fully off with that battery.
Has anyone run into this before? Is it possible to fix this somehow? It doesn't look like the switch is removable in this light.
