I am looking to build a new light using a MAG 2D and 2 18650 cells pushing a P7. I tried running this with 2 of the AMC7135 drivers but they got to hot. Anybody know of a good driver for this setup that can handle the voltage?

Shark Buck, hipCC, hipFlex, der Wichtel buck for driving at full power.

If you are willing to drive at 1.0A or 1.2A, SOB1000 or SOB1227. Makes heat management very easy -- you don't have to worry about it other than making sure you use the usual thin layer of AA epoxy under the P7 slug and add some thermal compound between the heat sink and Mag tube.

Thanks, I was looking at the Shark driver but wondering what else was out there. The hipcc looks like exactly what I need. Plus I was going to order a D2flex for my Mag1D DD anyway.
