Proton Pro update?

Keep coming back to this one. Anyone know if a new version is on the horizon?

I haven't heard of any new versions in the works. Hope there are. Someone said the newer Pro's are probably using newer Crees (Q5?) now.

I've just checked the packaging and instructions that came with my Proton Pro a few months ago, and the type / bin of LED isn't mentioned.

I did, however, learn that the 'LRI' in LRI Proton Pro stands for Laughing Rabbit inc.

It seems that you really do learn something new every day !

I really wish they update the original Proton with the Nichia GS.
