Tinted Mags

so i traded my old blue 4d mag for a black one
and got a silver at the same time

the black is a 4d mag with the mag led light in it, i like it alot, but could always be brighter

my 2nd is a silver 4d that is just plain stock

i have sent the original lens caps to my trucks painted to be tinted black. don't worry i saved a clear one form my blue one

but since i do show the truck and have the maglite holders mounted up (well, in a few days) i though a mag lite twin that matches my truck perfectly would be nice.

i have almost every light tinted on the truck, everything that can be led is, and the headlights is a 9007 i xenon 5000k hid kit and the fogs is a 9005 5000k kit, which is currently getting worked on.

oh and my 3rd is an advanced led light and i love it to death.

i figured i'd get the post rolling since i need the 2 posts verified by a mod
naturally i'll get pics of everything concerning the mags. maybe even the truck if you guys want since i made it a super flashlight

If I understand you right, you aren't using the black Mag necessarily to illuminate things, but more as a nice looking accessory for your truck, right?

Have you considered swapping the heads and tailcaps on the two Mags? The black light with a silver tailcap, black body, silver head and black bezel, will look surprisingly classy. I have a 3D set up like that in one of my trucks (with a Malkoff drop-in), mounted on the driver's side seat frame and it looks pretty cool. My truck isn't a show truck by any means, but I do like it to look nice. Give it a try, the worst that can happen, is you not liking it and you simply swap them back. I'd post some pics, but my brother has my camera (again), so I can't take any pics.

BTW, what kind of truck is it? Any pics?

have to replace the bulbs for the fogs, so i just ordered a new kit since i don't like the slim ballasts

Personally, I'd go for a Malkoff Device...as for the strike bezel and tailcap, just look on that same site.
