Well there have been good developments regarding flashlights in Greece.

Here sis a small report...

- A year ago the first Cree flashlights started being sold (P4 die of course). They were rebranded Nuwais/ZFavorlights of course....that is a good start that got metter with the coming of the newer lights (Q5s)

- Many people in the Special Forces crowd learnt about Solarforce

- Around summer Fenix lights started being imported. (but in bigger prices than the rest of Europe). And they have reached many sport equipement stores

- And few months ago Googling the Greek web for keywords like fenix, Solarforce etc I stumbled to a AudioVideo forum that a guy mentioned in amazement that there is a forum for everything, even flashlights! And gave a link to CPF…

Well I caught the chance, joined that forum and posted general info, answered questions etc…

Sometime another flashaholic surfaced…Fellow CPF Member Yuk! …what a joy…

So with the input of both, that thread has become a reference point for flashlight basics and suggestions in the Greek language. (major plus and long-standing need)

People asking for suggestions received pointers to the best of the affordable crop (EageTac Fenix etc)..Market share seems to have gone to the latter…A guy even dropped serious Euros (150=1/5th of a day worker's monthly income) for a Tk40….

So things ARE getting better
