Does anyone know for certain that the new Nitecore EZ CR2 will take rechargeable li-ion cells with: a. 3.0V and b. 3.7V? On the 4 sevens site it says "don't use batteries that exceed 3.0V." That may be an old message that doesn't apply to the new batch of EZ lites. I also assume that means we can use an RCR Cr2 of 3.0V, and that only the 3.7V is in question? I just don't want to endanger the light with 3.7V unnecessarily.

Also, does that mean that the light will be brighter on Max, with (with a 3.7V battery, if it's OK) with the same run time?

Runtimes on rechargeable CR2s are atrocious and should be avoided at all costs, they are not even protected. Stick with name brand CR2 cells, such as: Sanyo, Panasonic and Duracell.
