My LX2 just recently stopped putting out its 'high' output. That's normal since the regulation decided its time to start conserving the batteries for useful light output therefore limiting the LED to its 'low' output only. But then I twisted it to 'low' and left it there and it started strobing !! Is this a low battery warning? It does not happen every time I turn it on. Right now it is normal again. I managed to record a video of the LX2 strobing on low, i'll try to post it right now. Is this normal, I searched the forum and I read another member had this happen to him as well...This is my second set of batteries and the first set did not strobe, but just went into 'low'.

I believe it's just the very low batteries. That's normal behavior with my E1B and E2DL.

It might be, I saw my E2DL's and LX2's low light flicker before due to weak batteries, but never an actual strobe -on,off,on,off, etc.

Mine does the same thing. Consider it a low batt warning.

Time to switch to low power or change the batteries.
