Thank you all for the information on the LX2 and I bought it finally. I also bought the V21 nylon holster. According to the surefire site, it said V91 should fit LX2. However, the shop owner told me that the V21 fits the LX2 better. Here are some images for those LX2 owners who are looking for the holster. Hope they help. Cheers!

I also got the V21, instead of V91, with my LX2. Works fine, but I find the fit to be a bit tight for my taste. Mainly because I usually need to make sure the pocket-clip and lanyard ring are facing the "corner" of the holster for it to slide in properly. Do you find this to be the case? Can anyone comment if the V91 is larger?

I'm hoping it might loosen up a bit with some use.

Without the lanyard ring and clip installed, the V21 would be a perfect fit for the LX2.

I have found on the nylon v20, v21, etc the stock clip on the LX2 snags on the thick lip when drawing the light. I just removed the lip on mine. I have pics if interested.

You mean the lip at the top of the holster? If so I think I know what you mean, although still wouldn't mind seeing pics. Did you remove the whole lip, or just the loose ends at the back that aren't sewn down?

I just removed the thick lip (cutting the threads with a razor blade) and melted the edges with a lighter to keep from fraying.

Thanks Surefired, I just did the same thing, and the light is quite a bit easier to insert and no longer gets snagged on the way out - big improvement.

Canada, eh?
Strange they recommend the V91 when the A2 is similarly sized and the V21 is recommended. I have found a lot of size variation between holsters depending on how they were sewed. I have even had to add stitching to keep some lights from falling out the bottom while others are so tight at the bottom that I can't fit a light in all the way.
