Having lost a couple of these over the years, I've been able to replace them off Ebay.

I still like the older ones, which seem to have a tight beam with little spill. Don't care for the MV at all.

However, despite the spill, I've been impressed with the throw of the EDC1-DFT, and have been carrying it a lot. Sucks on the woods though.

Could always get a replacement head for it from malkoff or lumensfactory?

Personally I think that Led Lenser F1 is a much better light. Not only in looks but feel.
