Twintask 1L - Mechanical switch?

Hi all... For those of you that have purchased the Streamlight Twin Task lights (1L and 2L specifically) - how Modable are these lights? They seem cheap enough that I'd like to gut one (but save the switch) and drop in either a MadMax or NewBeam.

But, is the switch connected to some sort of board or is it just a mechanical switch?

It's a board. You'll find it more than a basic challenge to mod this light. I wanted to change the 1L so that it did 1 LED, all 3 Leds, then the incan, but it's not as simple as I thought it would be... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I'll let someone else figure it out, then do mine their way... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif
