Luxeon Transplant?

I have an Arc "Grey Kit" with a "kitty urine" green LED./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rant.gif

I would like to have the LED swapped out for one of a different color/configuration.


1. What color/configuration do you suggest (cyan, red, green?)

2. Who can do the "transplant" for me? (please volunteer!) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

3. How much will the transplant cost?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Amber! Bright, good color rendition, and doesn't affect night vision as much as white. Others swear by cyan, but I like amber.

If the head hasn't been glued on, the transplant is really
simple. Anyone with a soldering iron could do it.

it is easy if the bezel is off.i have a second that died of a 80 foot fall from a tower that i repaired and put in a q3 highdome while i was at it.used a bit of arctic silver epoxy to mount it too.made a huge improvement.
