My First Thought: How can I mod this?

While checking my mail I see the eBay deal of the day and I come upon this:

and my first thought is "How can I mod this?" Either I'm spending too much time on CPF, I am single-minded, I have an 'illness', I think anything can be improved, or... :thinking:

I bought the DX 128 LED flashlight. I would say it was about 225 Lumens by guess.

You should spend a whole day replaceing all the LED's with cree

Why not buy a showerhead and put leds in it?

I'd prefer to get a real light....

LMAO!

The problem with most of these lights whether they have 10 or 300 led's, they have absolutley NO throw, they put out a ton of light if youre 5-10ft away, beyond that dont waste your time. Most of these use really cheap LED's as well, burn out pretty easy.

Wait, I think he is on to something here. Turn this INTO a shower head and you would have a lighted shower head. After you make it sell it on CPF MarketPlace. I guarantee you flashaholics will buy it. :hitit:

Drill the middle, drop a xre q5 aspheric in the middle. The 5mm?'s will give you lots of spill. The aspheric, lots of throw. And if you could control either or, you would have the perfect light!
