Re: FS: Milky ML2

will it take RCR's? either single 17670, or 2 RCR123?

Thanks

Re: FS: Milky ML2

Yes, it will.

The body looks to be bored out.

I put in a single AW RCR123 Black Label and it fit in fine.

I don't have any 17670 to try.

Thanks....

Re: FS: Milky ML2

Colorado,

Do you know the max voltage for this light?
I am wondering if it will take 2 RcR123's (8.4V)?
Some Milky tape reads "Works with 1X Rechargeable or 2 Primary cells"

Another question: With this reflector, Is the light still pretty floody? or did Milky turn it into a smoother throwing beam?

Thanks

Re: FS: Milky ML2

It doesn't state battery type on the Milky tape.

With this reflector it is nice and floody with a great smooth beam and good throw.

I really don't have the answer to the battery question, maybe someone else would know.

Thanks....

Beauty of a light!

By the way, the emitter would be a USWOH. Also, the SOB regulators can handle up to 16V input, so pretty much anything you could fit into that body would work fine!

Thanks for the assist, Hack. That is correct. :D

I will note that I tend to be a little conservative with the SOB converters in that I'd suggest no more than 12V max battery voltage, even though the Sandwich Shoppe (who sells the SOB driver) says it can go up to 16V. Maybe I'm being overly cautious.
