A light for my work truck

Anyone here have any experience with this light,

I was thinking of mounting a couple in the back of my work truck.I like the fact they have motion sensors. Our mechanics are too busy to wire up something,also these are alot cheaper than what they were going to do.

I would like something like that for my front door entrance,have a mains light but the motion sensor version would be great plus running on Lithium would make it a nice to have item.Will look out for a UK version when I am next in a DIY shop here in the UK.

As regards your truck a good cheaper idea is any of the Automotive multi Led work lights that have magnetic mountings,just stick them to the sides of the truck.We bought 5000 of them last year for a sales promotion and they sold really well,I have one on the side of my fridge which can angle as well.I use it at night for a nice low mood light as I enter the kitchen to grab a beer or make a sandwich etc,give it a top up charge once a week from the mains adaptor plus it can charge from a car lighter socket as well.

No magnetic mounts as the body is alluminum.I just wanted something fixed that I don't have to turn on and off.

Sounds like a good idea, I was at Harbor Freight yesterday looking at these trying to figure what I'd use them for. Now I know, thanks. I guess of course I'd have to turn it off or I'd be driving down the street with the porch light on.
