It seems everytime I turn my Maratac 9290 on it either dims down to the lowest setting and stays there, or brightens up to the brightest setting and stays there. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to stay at a pre-set setting. :shrug: Can someone please help me out?

Turn the head so that it starts ramping up or down. When it reaches the brightness you want tighten the head and it will stay there.

n54power hello. You really have a very good light there with the Maratac.Once you get the hang of it, youll see how versitile that one is.
Once you set the sellected brightness, it will remember that setting when turned on and off until you sellect a different brightness. Enjoy it.
