On the left the optic is from Ahorton (30 mm) and on the right the big one is a 52 mm coated one from kaidomain.
The smaller one uses 2xCR123 or 1x18650 at 1.4amps.

Nice lights! How far do they throw?

Have you considered putting in a XR-E R2 using those same aspherics (or perhaps you already have something like that)?

I'd like to know how far a R2 would throw using a 52 mm aspheric like that.

I like the bigger one too and I'm sure the beam is interesting with a XP-G but I'm drooling to know what it would do with an XR-E since it has an easily available lens and it's certainly nice and compact.

I too assume that's a homebuild housing? Nice!

I keep looking for an inexpensive way to come up with something like that...52mm aspheric, small body with a R2.
