I just purchased one of theses on the marketplace;

Milky Tower : SSC P4 U-6500K SOB1000 5-16 volts.

I put it in a M3T and the stock MN15 lamp appears brighter. Can anybody tell me the output and runtimes in a 3 cell format?

I tried doing a search but couldn't find anything on this module.

Are the LED domes sticky to the touch?

Thanks in advance,

kelmo

Yeah they be sticky. The thing about Milky stuff is you never know how the guy who ordered it wanted it. But I think due to heat concerns none of those towers were real screamers. Now if you put an XP-G led on there it should be brighter and run cooler but the focus may be off. I'm not sure if it should be deeper in the reflector or not.

If I were you I think I'd just give Scott a call and chat with him.

Thanks Sarge,

My KX2C is brighter than this one when white wall hunting (more concentrated beam). Its got a wide hotspot with lots of spill, kinda like the latest KL4. But if I can get say 3 hours of regulated runtime now were talking. I can't wait for it to get dark so I can get a better idea of its performance. Moderate punch without the blinding glare if you happen to sweep the beam on something in close would be perfect!

I did send Mr. Spit a PM.
