Reduced again:

This is not your typical daily Mag 1C, it is priced at $125
Sunday Madness $50 Off. Only $75! Sunday Only.

A black battery sleeve is included to use 2x123 Primary or 2xRCR123
. (Batteries not included)PP fee & Shipping add $9. US only.

Over bought a bunch of expensive lights, had to make some sacrifice.
letting this special Mag 1C go, which is part of my colored mag C collection.

I name it The Indian Prince, because it reminds me of Fred's Indian Princess
(https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/213466)
except that this one is more muscular, sort of a medieval gladiator look.

Blact mag 2c host was cut down & re-threaded to 1C, stripped to bare naked aluminum,
Mag kirlings were removed to become a smoothie & then Re-anodized to Brass.

It's then slotted, dimpled & tear dropped all over, sort of the Fred/Photonfenetic style.

The switch is modified as a drop-in host, with positive/negative contact,
instead of the more common hard wire approach.
img4902qs.jpg

A uniquique drop-in is made by joining a Cree Q5 P60 Module with a large Aluminum OP reflector to form a FiveMega style Bi-focal reflector but deeper. The larger Aluminum OP reflector also serves as the heat sink, allow teh module to run cooler, teherfore brighter.
img4903.jpg

The Bi-focal deep reflector connects in a way that both reflector's focal point unite to give a beam as if it's from a single deep reflector:
img4905.jpg

The beam is as flawless as it can be, no Cree rings what's so ever.
It doesn't have the blue rim around the hot spot as shown in photo.
img4915.jpg

Zoom in to the hot spot, you can see there's really no "blue circle' surrounding the hot spot.
the spot has surefire E2DL level of perfection on white wall, not a small task to achieve for a Cree.
img4918.jpg

The p60 Module is rated 200 lumens but the BI-focal reflector making it much brighter than trypical cree p60 drop-in.

It's well regulated, appears similar brightness running 1 Li-ion, 2x123 Primary or 2xRCR123.

Posting I'll take it has priority over PM.

Thanks for looking

That's a really nice looking mod. Any pictures of the body of the light? How long is it, maybe in relation to an uncut 2C?

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but does it still use the original Mag switch? It looks like the tower of the switch was cut down, a positive contact was added, and the negative contact strip sticks up and contacts the outer spring on the dropin. Just trying to picture how it all goes together.

It's the typical mag 1C size.
I can take some pictures tonight next to mag 2C & show the Prince body

Yes, it still uses the mag switch & works exactly as you described, which is a very cleaver design.

pic please

There is already a whole light pic in the OP. I'll take some photo next to mag 2C tonight.

Re: Final Reduction $95: The Indian Prince - Brass colored Mag 1C/Deep Reflector

Final reduction $95 :poke:

That's it folks, this custom 1C beauty will go back to my Mag C color collection if don't sell at $95.

The going rate of custom cut/rethread Mag 1C is $60, plus $30 for head & $30 for body machine work etc. That's $120, before you could even get to custom Ano service, the cost on Custom ano.? forget it, another $50-$60 or so plus shipping & months of waiting.

It'll probably cost you twice as much if you are trying to build one like this yourself.
