While browsing through the flashlight section at Fry's, I came across these Quarrow HighBeam 35 lumen rechargeable Headlamp/Hat clip lights: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...ferralID=2b97fde6-deee-11df-af68-001b2166becc
Now I will be the first to admit that the lights are pretty much garbage, they don't seem to put out 35 lumens and output drops very quickly on them. However the clip can be very useful as a headlamp.
I decided to see if some of my lights fit on the clip. I was able to fit my Quark mini 123, Quark mini aa (with some fabric to increase the diameter), my Fenix LD20. I am sure that many other lights could fit as well. I find the clip very useful as I run/hike at nighttime almost everyday. The clips are extremely sturdy and I have even done wind sprints with them attached to my had with no issues. They rotate 360 degrees and also vertically up and down.
These are on sale at Fry's in Burbank, CA for 8$. I picked up a few and I just wanted to share this with you guys that are looking for a quality headlamp or clip light attachment to work with one of your current flashlights.
Here are a few pictures:
