Princeton Tec 40 + Eneloops

Hello,

Has anyone tried Sanyo Eneloops in a PT Tec 40 light? What can I expect for brightness and runtime? Also, what would be a good bulb upgrade to use with these cells. I've heard good things about the Mag-num Star Xenon bulbs from Maglite with lithium AA's but nothing about Eneloops. Thanks!

Eneloops + Mag 4 bulb is a nice combo in the PT40, probably the best IMHO. You get the reliability of a bulb not overdriven and without heat issues melting the reflector. As the Mag bulb draws around .8A IIRC, you'd get around 2 hrs solid runtime per charge.
