TK11 with two 18650s (extension tube from Tk30)

Hello all, long time viewer (years) finally joined ;)

I own a Tk11 R5 and have purchased a Tk30

Now since i can't get the picture to show up basically he has a tk12 with the extension tube from a tk30 and it fits.
The purpose? Extended runtimes.
But will this not be too many volts for the light to handle? 8.4V instead of 4.2v

I realize i have a tk11 but i figure there close in regards to what they can both compensate with.
I Don't want to try it and watch my tk11 head go CYA LATER BRO!

Check the manual, see what it can handle, I'm not sure how much over 6 volts it can take. I only ever ran two cr123's in mine. Cool to know it's thread compatible

The TK11 CAN run 2X RCR123 and they're the same voltage as 18650's as far as I know, so why not?
