Does anyone know the inside diameter of the Maglite ML 50L 3 C cell light? Just ordered one and I am considering alternative battery options.

Sorry for the smart-Democrat comeback, sometimes I get that way.

I don't have a micrometer handy, but using my Stanley tape measure it looks to be about 1 and 3/16 inch I.D.

Yeah, 21700 fits into C bores with too much room.. and 26650 is a no go..

My ML 50L is 26.41mm id.

YEa, pretty much 26650 is a no go without boring out the tube, but with 21700 now being widely available, with their capacity almost equal to 26650, they make 26650 obsolete now,
