Surefire L1 Lumamax - Reasons to buy?

I plan to buy a Surefire L1 Lumamax somewhere in November. I already have some 6P, 9P and Z2 models, so I know the quality of the workmanship. And thanks to my Kroma Milspec, I know the beauty of the Dualstage Tailcap. BUT although I plan to buy that light, I still wonder if it is really worth the money with a 10/65 Lumen setting. Even the 80 Lumen of the SF6PL I just used on the way to ATM couldn't really impress me. So now I am planning to buy a more expensive light with less power....



.... so I am looking for objectiv reasons why the L1 is worth the money.
