I remember when I started in this hobby, 60 lumens out of a 2 cell LED was impressive. Then it started moving up to the low 100 lumen range.
It seems like the last couple years 200 lumens is what the average 2 battery cell LED is producing (I know some companies like Fenix advertise more than this, but I tend to believe Surefire's figures a bit more).
When do you all think LEDs will advance to the point where we may see 400 lumens from a 2 cell flashlight model (like a Surefire C2 LED)?
