After a few quick searches im quickly discovering that the cheap 3xAAA LED flashlight I bought recently was probably a terrible purchase. In fact the 3xAAA configuration doesn't seem very popular at all.
I expect that there are always exceptions. But what are some general warning signs to look for when purchasing an off the shelf LED flashlight?
I don't mind if its more popular opinion than hard science. Just looking for some general tips that might help a noob like myself not make another mistake.
Im thinking along the lines of brands, configurations or materials to avoid.
my starting point. - In future avoid showerhead designs.
