I am considering buying the Maelstrom G5 from survival-pax.com they have it on sale for 87.00 but it is the first generation. Me not being much of a flashlight nut (yet) would it be worth me saving a lil extra and getting the V2 it is nearly 72$ more or just jump on this deal? I will mainly just be using the max mode not to worried about the other modes. I also see that the V2 is about 7% brighter but me not being much of a flashaholic I'm sure i wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
