Hello,
I have a Surefire L4 coming in the mail, and am looking to swap out the head with something modern. I see that you can buy VME heads to update e-series flashlights with Malkoff drop-ins. I own an M61, so this would be a simple $35 upgrade if it works. Is this setup compatible with the L4, or is there something intrinsically different about the L4 body that will not allow the Malkoff to fit into it?
