A while ago I decided I needed a larger, brighter, longer runtime light for work. I currently EDC a Quark Mini AA, XP-G R5, the new light will be work only) Being happy with the Quark Mini AA, I decided to order the Quark AA2 Tactical.
I read about the green tint of the XP-G S2 here on CPF, but thought (hoped) that it was subtle, something only a connoisseur would notice, but I was wrong. Right out of the box it was obvious, and compared side-by-side with the Mini AA it is glaring.
I think Im unhappy enough that Ill send the light back. I see no more AA2-T with the XP-G R5 left, theyre all S2s now. I see the warm tint version, but the max output for it is 145Lm, and I want 200 or more. I want to continue to use AA cells.
So it looks like I need to look away from the Quark line. Suggestions on where to start?
