Hey CPF,

So I'm patiently awaiting my TCR2 and I was looking into some batteries for it. From what I have read they like 3.7v. So I was looking and at first I looked for batteries specificly advertising higher voltages like these: http://www.batteryjunction.com/uf16340.html

Then I noticed it said they were 1mm longer then normal 123s so I got a little worried. Then I looked at the more popular 3.0v RCRs like these http://www.batteryjunction.com/4parc390reli.html

and in the fine print it says Peak 3.0v will be 3.6 after charged. I dont know why the hell it says peak will be 3 followed by saying it will be 3.6 after fully charged but im assuming thats what I would need?

I dont know if I should get the ones advertised at what voltage I need that are 1mm longer or If I should get the ones rated at 3v that supposedly are 3.6?

this is my first time messing with rechargeable 123s and I dont want to pull the trigger on 50+ dollars in batteries AFTER i bought a 250 dollar light and not get optimal performance.

thanks in advance for any help.

EDIT, just saw these too http://www.4sevens.com/product_info....roducts_id=201 They say 3.7 on them...

:thumbsup:They say they're designed for RCR's or you may experience some flicker, I use standard CR123's and they work fine (a little flicker here and there) but I'm so impressed with the light, it's become my everyday edc when I'm not a work. Very bright for a single cell and it has to be the king of the low low beam, IMO.

I love the magnetic ring. Adjusts the lumens from 0.003 to 310.

It's well designed and well made.

For one CR123, it's the best in my opinion.
