looking for *vampire* p60 dropin

id like a low lumen (50-80) p60 dropin that will drain 3 x AA (derelight javelin) dry without turning off when voltage gets very low, is malkoff the only dropin that can do it or are there others?

Nailbender made me a nice 2 level warm tinted vampire a little over a year ago.

Uncertain about this application re: the OP's 3x AA request. I have found that 3x C alkalines yield blue-shift within seconds on my 5mm LED. I'm fairly certain 3x AA alkalines will provide the same result - severe overdriving of the LED. 3X NiMH (and their lower cell voltage under minimal loads) would work fine, but will provide only ~10 lumens or so.
2xAA would provide a number of options re: the inexpensive multimode low-voltage dropins such as SolarForce.
There really are very few adequate solutions for what the OP is looking for, aside from the Malkoffs. :thinking:

He could put a resistor in it right, lowering the voltage getting to the LED, and using a nichia, maybe get 25 lumens???
