As many of you may know, Battery Junction introduced the 14505 a few months ago. It's essentially a CR123A battery in a AA format. I just did a primitive MKI Eyeball runtime test on the LD10 and just wanted to quickly share the results. The light was immersed in water for cooling purposes and is the Q5 flux version. Starting battery voltage was 3.24 V, and ending voltage after allowing the battery to rest was 1.3 V.

My LD10 ran for approximately 60 minutes before falling to "50%" on turbo (again, I'm using a MKI eyeball). The light went to 125 minutes before transitioning into "low" mode. At 130 minutes it transitioned into a Quark-light moonlight mode, and at 137 minutes it was still on but was unusable as a light source.
