Greetings,

I bought a Malkoff M60 MC-E module (the 500 lumen flood monster) off the Marketplace and was wondering if I can run it with 4 X CR123?

Thanks in advance,

kelmo

[Small Room Flood]
M60 MC-E
input voltage - 5.5v to 13v
maximum lumens output - 500
common battery configuration- 2*CR123
full output runtime on common battery configuration - 45 minutes
total runtime to dead - 1 hr
beam arc - Flood
throw (feet) - 140
usage comments - Large Room Filling Flood

I copied-and-pasted this info into a Word document awhile ago
(suitable for data retrieval).

It should handle either 4xCR123a, or 3 rechargeable lithium-ions.

On 4 primaries, you should get 1+1/2 hours of regulated Malkoff floodiness. Probably a similar amount (a little more?) on a Fivemega 3x18650 configuration.

This module has a sublime voltage range.

red_hackle and Z-tab,

Thank you for bringing up the issue of the 'direct drive' variation. I have the regulated version and was not thinking of 'direct drive'.
