these are relatively cheap and have a nice battery pack that comes with it but i would like to replace the leds with something warmer and with more CRI.

im not planning on using it on a bike tho but more a a video light. do you think thats a good idea? ideally i want it floody.
what i was wondering is do i need to change the driver or should i change it to something more suitable for a video light? should i find a driver to run it lower so it doesnt catch on fire while i leave it lying around? will that cause too much pwm? i still want it to be bright tho.
lately ive been noticing pwm on one of my flashlights when i put it on medium that never showed on my videos before. not too sure why that is and that is why i am trying to get a new light. it could just be my camcorder tho since it is kinda old now i guess???
is there any mod to make it more floody?
the xpgs are supposed to be the floodier of the LEDs? there is a single MC-E version as well as a single p7. am i better off using one of those and only changing 1 LED instead of 3? the MCE would have a lil higher cri than the xpg. will the performance be that much different with heat and brightness? will the price be worth it? if i decide to mod a 3 LED device would i need to change 3 drivers as well?
