First of all hello, decided to join as I have an unhealthy obsession with torches although my collection is just starting. :)

I'm looking for recommendations for a torch to use for work, I have a led lenser p3 for in my pocket and a p7 on my belt for longer distance stuff and was looking at getting a p17 but after looking here there's not much love for led lenser and there is better torches for the same/less money. I'm looking for about a 200m range and a price under £100ish, batteries are not too important as long as its not burning £10 worth of batteries every shift. I've been looking at a Fenix TK60 at £105 but was looking for any better suggestions?

Since it seems you're in the UK. I'd look into a Thrunite TN11, it's priced under your budjet (which includes the VAT tax). I'm in the US but ordered my TN11 from a UK vendor (I couldn't find a US vendor that has it in stock) and am presently waiting for it's arrival. Doing my research, this one should cover the 200 plus yards I was looking for without a problem.

Here's a link to turboBB's excellent review on the TN11, which btw sold me on this light!

I'm presently carrying on my belt a Maelstrom X10. Aside from the holster that scratched the living heck out on my light after the first night of use (it's only a few weeks old, but looks like I've owned the light for maybe 10 years already), if you can get past that. I think this would be a great light for your purpose. It has a simple UI with a lot of useable spill, but throws as well. The only other disadvange in the X10 is the cost of it's initial investment since you have to buy 26650 batteries (I'd buy at least two batteries to have an extra on hand, charged ready for use. I bought 4 ... LOL) and special charger for it.

I also rotated two EDC's that I keep in my pocket as well. And I'm fighting the urge in adding a third, doing well right now, but it maybe a loosing battle fighting this one. What is it? It's a HDS Systems Rotary!

Good Luck, but Most Importantly, Be Safe!

Tons of great options in that price range that will do that kind of distance. You really need to provide more info.

Do you want the light to be physically large?
Re-chargeable batteries?
Modes?

I assume if you are in the UK you have been on sites such as Flashaholics.co.uk or Heinnie.co.uk?

I would recommend rechargeables for user lights as they would save you quite a bit of money over time. Led Lensers are not very well regarded here as they mostly use older technology like direct driving/XR-E leds etc.. Good compact throwers include the thrunite scorpion v2 turbo/Maelstrom G5/X10 all these options run at abour 140 USD. You may want to take a look at some of the optics lights as well, they tend to be the best throwers.

i also think investing in rechargeable cells is worth it for a work light.
will start saving you money quickly. and you can begin your shift with fresh cells all the time.
i think 18650 li-ion are the way to go for output, capacity, and size. also, plenty of lights to choose from that uses those size cells. and most can use 2x CR123 as well.

Sometimes older technology is better, the Cree XR-E LED is very old yet is still used in well regarded high quality torches because it has higher surface brightness and therefore throws further than modern LEDs like the XP-G and XM-L.

I do not think you should cite the use of XR-E's as a reason why we dislike led lenser.

Also working security I choose between the JetBeam PC25(408Lumens) and the Fenix PD31(304Lumens). They both have a quick to strobe features and they both take 18650 batteries. They can also use CR123. The PC25 has a side button on the rear side for strobe and the PD31 requires just a half press on the back clicky. Both are great lights.

Well, the older XR-Es/XP-Cs are only used in aspheric/specialised LED throwers, and not so much in general flashlights. People don't like Led lenser mostly cos its a bit overpriced and doesnt have a regulator/driver. Anyway, to the OP, you should really the TN11, pretty good throw and output for the price!
