What Li-ion's, protected or not, can be used with HDS 170T?

Can these be used?

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]-AW RCR123 (made with 16340 with finished size of 17345)
-AW R17670

Yes to the above. Primaries are good to go. The light itself has built in protection, so the use of a either a protected or unprotected rechargeable Li-Ion cell is okay. Personally, I use an AW RCR123. And you can use a 17670 battery as long as you have the 17670 battery tube.

The fact that HDS light is capable of over discharge protection is very appealing and makes the use of any type of rcr battery comfortable. It's one light that is worth every $ you spend.

So use any rcr that you have. B-)

The discharge protection works as long as you insert a fully charged Li-Ion cell and do not remove and replace it, unless it is again fully charged.
