surefire c3 centurion questions about batterys

It uses 3 sf123a, works great, is there a way to use rechargeable battery's in it, or use one 18650 and one sf 123a, would that work, don't want to hurt the flashlight. thanks

Two 17500s would be the right length, but I don't know if even IMRs would fit without having the light bored.

NEVER ever mix and match batteries as you stated here. Great advice given by archimiedes. Only use the same "like" batteries.

Two 17500 cells would fit nicely into the light. 18500 cells will not fit into the light.

2X AW 17500 cells would be perfect for the C3 and they work with the P90 flawlessly.
