It uses 3 sf123a, works great, is there a way to use rechargeable battery's in it, or use one 18650 and one sf 123a, would that work, don't want to hurt the flashlight. thanks

Two 17500s would be the right length, but I don't know if even IMRs would fit without having the light bored.

Seriously, what the OP had suggested above is extremely dangerous
Multi-cell setups should always use identical batteries - same brand, same type, same age, same charge and voltage, and so forth.

NEVER ever mix and match batteries as you stated here. Great advice given by archimiedes. Only use the same "like" batteries.

Two 17500 cells would fit nicely into the light. 18500 cells will not fit into the light.
