Quark Turbo X head running on 2 14500s??

So I bought a Quark AA2 X and put the head on an AA body that I power with a 14500--what a great edc!!!

I saw that the Turbo X's are on sale right now (only $68 for 450 lumens!!!) but I really don't like the C123 format. So, how about putting the Turbo X head on my AA2 X body and dropping two 14500's inside??? That would push me up to 500+ lumens (I think) and allow me to keep using the AA format with the reliable and affordable rechargeable 14500's........I also ordered a turbo flat tail piece thinking the wider tailpice would sort of help balance out the wider Turbo X head.......

Thoughts?

Nonprophet - I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. Did you have any issues with excessive heat running (2) 14500s on the Turbo X head?
