Is the window on the AZ2 glass or polycarbonate?

I'd say my AZ2 has a glas lens.
I am thinking it is glass.
Poly, ie Lexan can discolor, melt/deform etc if you go crazy and leave a hot running bulb on a long time. A have a couple older Lexan models where the lens sort of deformed a little from heat.
