This is just a warning to current 7G5 owners, not a complaint by the way.
I just recently read on another Light Forum that the Collimator head does not fit the older model 7G5 in case you already have bought the original 7G5 already.
I found the info also on a CPF link that explained the main problem.
It was designed to fit the 7G5 V2 only.

This is the important part of the whole problem.
An extract from that thread.
Sadly, screw threads are no longer square-cut or anodized for tailcap lock-out. :sigh: Triangular threads seem of good quality, though.
Therefore:
The Collimator Head will not fit onto the threads used in the first model.

I just had a reply to my email asking if the Collimator will fit the older Crelant 7G5.
His reply was NO.
Andy at Crelant Sales said if you want to use the Collimator Head then you need to use the 7G5 V2.
He can be contacted at [email protected] for further information.
