Has anyone tried a XM-L in a mini mag led? How did it go?

I am wondering what kind of beam would a XM-L make in a Mini Mag Led 2AA, the one with the deep reflector, I am almost sure I read here about someone doing it but can't find the thread, anyone knows?

I am interested in knowing what kind of beam profile will that reflector make, if it makes a nice small hotspot, it would be used in another host.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I put an XM-L in an LED mini mag. It was not a tight beam, as the XM-L does not lend itself to tight beams. Also you'd need to find a driver that does over 1.5 amps to really take advantage of the XM-L over useing an XP-G or XR-E, and that is not too easy given that you only have 2 AAs in the mini mag. Run time on low was not that great due to haveing to use a boost driver (they are less efficient than buck drivers). I suppose I'd like it more if I got a clicky tail switch for it as I am not a fan of twisting to change modes.
